Who We Are

Coaldale Christian School is a Category 1 private Christian School and has been operating since 1974.  Primarily members of the Canadian Reformed Church at Coaldale and Taber support it. The school has an enrolment policy, which allows those who are not members of these local churches to enrol their children.  All enrolments are subject to board approval.  The school is open to special needs students (e.g. those individuals who have learning disabilities) as we do provide a Special Education Program.

Our student body comes from the Town of Coaldale as well as areas north and east of Coaldale extending as far as Taber and Grassy Lake.  Students who live outside Coaldale are bused in via two buses operated by the Society and by the County of Lethbridge.

Funding to operate Coaldale Christian School comes from three sources: fees, donations, and government grants.

The building itself, located on the outskirts of Coaldale, is a modern facility consisting of 12 classrooms. Two are used for computer classes and science. A large kitchen facility, and an auditorium are available as well.  Besides, there are the usual rooms for office personnel and staff.  A special room has been designated for Special Education.
